Purpose: to enhance and quicken decision making
Attach the chart to the wall at eye height. The athlete calls out the direction in which the arrow is pointing and at the same time points in that direction.
To make this more difficult:
· Do a physical movement (ie jumping, stepping, clapping) while reading chart.
· Do a physical movement (ie pointing, jumping to side) according to direction chart shows.
· Do a physical movement as above, but the opposite of arrow direction.
· Add physical mechanics (ie catch a ball) while reading the chart.
· To make more difficult if arrow points Right-catch with Right Hand, Left-with Left Hand, Up-with both hands and Down-avoid catching.

The Stroop test, or Stroop effect, is a neuropsychological test used to assess cognitive functions like selective attention, cognitive flexibility, and the ability to inhibit automatic responses, particularly the interference between reading words and naming colors.
